The A Guide to Physics Problems is a book containing original problems of physics and there solutions. The author has assembled and solved standard and original problems from four major American universities and Moscow Phys-Tech; in order to arm hopeful graduate students with the knowledge necessary to pass the qualifying examination. This book is all about passing the physics exams.

A wide range of material is covered in this book and comparisons have been made between similar problems of different schools and colleges etc, to provide the student enough information about physics so that he can feel comfortable and get high grades in his exam by develpoing his self confidence for physics through this book.

The A Guide to Physics Problems is a 2 volume et of problems taken from Ph.D. qualifying exams. Part 2 -- the companion to Part 1: Mechanics, Relativity, and Electrodynamics (Plenum 1994) -- features 182 challenging problems with detailed solutions, textbook references, clear illustrations, and an easy-to-use layout.

The Contents of Part 1 are:

Mechanics, Relativity, and Electrodynamics (The Language of Science)

The Contents of Part 2 are :
